Firewire 800 Hub Query

    Hello,

    Ok, so last month I got a nice new macbook pro, I also picked up a Wiebtech Firewire 800 Harddrive to go along with it. There is also a motu 8 pre (firewire 400) an a korg microkontrol (USB 2.0) hooked up to it.

    I often disconnect the laptop so bring around and its a pain in the ass to disconect with all the cables coming out of it.

    I'm looking to hook up a hub to it so that I only have to disconnect the one cable.

    So now, question time.....

    1) Anyone know of any hubs that do firewire 800, 400 and USB 2.0? The only thing i've found is the newertech ministack V3. The problem is I dont want the harddrive part. So yeah, anybody got any suggestions?

    2) Will there be a performance hit on each item? I assume if such a hub exists it will connect via FW800. Will each item experence lower transfer rate becuase of going thru a hub?
