if you are starting out then standard length clubs will be fine. Wait until you decide to take it up properly then you can look at getting custom fit clubs made which are pretty expensive.

If you are going to buy a set get yourself custom fit it wont cost you anything to get custom fit.

Golf Works and Mcguirks come to mind

    Good luck

the actual custom fit won't cost him, but he will have to buy reasonably expensive clubs to get them fitted.

If only taking up the game that would be silly imo.

At 5'10" you probably will never need your clubs custom fit. Unless you make it as a pro.

I rang them during the year and they said they custum fit beginner sets free of charge.
I will call them tomorrow and double check.

well that would be cool, the last time I looked into it they only custom fitted for sets over 500 or something. On the basis that they couldn't order adjusted versions of the cheaper brands.
