    Im looking for a laptop with a budget of about 1100.Im looking to do mainly college work and gaming aswell as watching movies on it.I have been looking at this Vostro.Is this a good deal?

    Thats ex vat! Good god. Even if its got a descent enough spec its overpriced. There are some nice Toshiba's about at the moment, the tecra's and protege models are particulary nice and slimline and will do everything your looking for.

    That isn't great to be honest and the graphics card is pretty poor. Here is a much better one. Drop the warranty down to a one year and upgrade the battery to a nine cell and it comes out at €909 excluding vat. Here's the spec:
