    Hi Folks,
I've ordered a set of clubs from this website, but now I'm starting to wonder if I've made a big mistake. Has anybody ever bought anything from here before?

    Cheers,
    Steve.

doesnt look like your making much of a saving and they accept paypal. if you used paypal your safe enough. can dispute payment if goods do not arrive

I've just checked there, aye, I paid by paypal.
I'm not starting to worry yet, it's just that one guy on another website questioned whether they are legitimate or not, I guess the first pangs of panic started to strike.
I ordered on the 28th September, they say they intend to deliver within two weeks. I know the two weeks isn't up yet, I was just wondering if anybody else from here had bought anything from them before - if somebody has had a successful transaction with them, then it would put my mind at rest.
I guess I didn't dought them until I somebody else suggested otherwise, albeit with no evidence to the contrary.

They also have a nice gollfclubseurope.com website. They appear to be an American company.Their website says they are a service company. They don't have any stock themselves but use a network of suppliers. I 'd say they are legit on the face of it ..but perhaps not the best value ..more of a middle man

Well, you try find a set of Callaway Big Bertha 06 irons (3-PW), graphite shaft for less than £480. They are £600 in the stores, and they are the averaging about £530 on the net.
It looks like they buy them straight from the makers, then sell them at a less-than-normal profit, I assume they can do this as they have no "store" and stock as such.

I bought a set of callaway x-20's in McGuirks of Howth for €550 euro 6 months ago . At todays exchange rate that would be stg 380.

Mcguirks are selling Big bertha irons for €499 (345stg ) today

Would the royal mail strikes have delayed them a little???

    graeme might have it there.

In general I find McGuirks are normally better value than any of the online sites on new up to date equipment. You generally can only get good deals on older marked down gear online. I've gotten my last 2 drivers and iron sets from them and they were cheaper than going online.

However the BB06s are available cheaper in a few locations as there is a BB08 set out early next year to replace them.

Well, thankfully my clubs arrived yesterday in one piece. Going to head to the driving range to try them out tonight. :)

was also thinking of ordering from this site, tm r7 irons. having had chance to play with your irons and check them for authenticity would you recommend?

am very cautious as i have read much about bogus clubs being sold on the internet and at over £100 cheaper than pro shop. it almost seems too good to be true

    cheers

I woudn't buy from them again.
I rang the telephone number 20+ times and got no answer.
They sent me an incorrect tracking number.
E-mails were generally replied to within two days.
Genuine clubs and they got here in the ed, but in hindsight, I'd go elsewhere.

    Hoi mate,

You mentioned that you've called the guys like 20 times.
Do you have a phone number for me?

It looks like there are some issues with my order. (I've paid but got no payment confirmation from the website ... for whatever reasons).

    Many thanks,
    Daniel.
