Anybody know of any sellers in Ireland that sell this receiver? Preferably patched? :eek: I can get one from ebay but would ideally like to cut corners on postage. Thanks guys.

Have you checked out the Sticky thread on satellite shops, maybe a few of those sell Technomate. However, I can't allow the discussion of buying/selling/using patched receivers, due to possible legal issues.

I bought my 1500CI+ from this lad in Londonderry. Ironically shipping is £1 cheaper to RoI than it is to the UK. I'd recommend him.

An RS232 serial cable is all that is required to upgrade the firmware, as per the manual on TM's website.
