On the recommendation I bought a Peli 1510 case 9with dividers) and it was delivered today from the UK.

Initial feelings are it is a great investment €242 including courier and I can safely store all my gear in one place. Cheapest I was quoted in Ireland was €250 plus VAT and delivery.

Anyone else use these rolling cases?

I see all the auld fellas sitting on them at games. :p

    They're great for football though.
Easy to keep clean & dry.

It was one of those old fellas, like myself that recommended it. He's also one of the best "soccer" snappers in the country.:)

spankin' gorgeous.. Was gonna get one of them at one stage last year.. Came to my senses in the end though. Don't really need that level of protection just yet.

You wouldn't be long filling it.
Is there room for a laptop?

not unless it's a very small laptop. I'd say you'd fit one of those Dell X300's in it.. Anything larger would probably require a shoehorn and some elbow grease.

No, not unless you try follow Rymus' advice of using a shoehorn and elbow grease.

Regardless of the laptop size, that action would result in damage or even destruction of either lappy or lenses, defeating the purpose the protection.

BTW, are you coming to the Ireland Gemany Fanfest on Saturday, could be a good photo op!
