    Found reel off co-axial in the attic.

    Is Rg 59b-u as its marked ok for a uhf aerial installation??

    It should do alright, though it would have higher loss than RG6.

    If your signals are strong, it should be alright.

    Not for more than about 3m distance, or very strong signal.

    It's VHF radio and TV security camera cable.

    Very high loss compared with RG6 or CT100 or PF102 etc at 750MHz.

    Ok then. Its defo more than a 3metre run so i'll stick with the rg6.

    I'll find some use for it. Thinking of hooking my Yupiteru up to a discone so mite be ok for that..

    I would think that your discone and yupiteru would be 50 Ohm the RG59 is 75Ohm.
