Where is the cheapest place in dublin to pruchase an XD 2 gb card for a digital camera. Also what is the difference between and SD card and an XD card?

They're not that cheap in Dublin & most places charge the same prices.
If you're not in a rush, try buying them online.
Somewhere like Komplett or 7 Day Shop would be a good place to start.

    Thanks for that link, gandalf.
I see they have the 4GB Transcend 266x CompactFlash for €85, which is great, considering the postage is free.

Placed an order last week from the 7days folk for a 4GB - Sandisk Extreme IV CF for €78 inc delivery. The only problem now is that the UK postal strike that was cancelled last week is now on again starting today for 48hrs :(
