    I read in The Times today he died in hospital after a short illness. It didn't say what the illness was though. My sympathies to his family.

    That's what I thought too. Person obviously trying to hard to write what they thought someone else would write in that situation (probably a student intern or something).

    Your license fee at work.

    Anyway, its a small issue, pity about the actor dying which should be the focus of the thread.

    Saw him onstage also and was a great theatre actor too.

    Adam and paul is one of the best Irish films in a long time. Very sad.

    Adam and Paul was just pure gas! Such a great movie.

    I actually saw Tom on the bus into town less then 9 months ago, I was star struck!
