    Hi Guys,

Has it become difficult for ROI airsofters to order from the airsoft suppliers in the UK due to the new VCR bill. I know it only affects UK people but If the order form requests a membership number what do we do?

Are the UK retailers aware that such a law does not exist here and our Firearms act has changed to allow airsoft under 1 joule and they are free to ship to us?

AFAIK, the UK authorities aren't concerned with Airsoft equipment leaving the country (and from their stance, the more the better). And in the event of returns being made, it is the retailer causing an RIF to be imported, thus availing of the defense made for skirmishers.

Go to arnies airsoft - there's an entire sub-forum dedicated to the VCRA

Anal-note: it's not the VCR Bill any more since it's now enacted. It's the VCR Act (aka VCRA)
