    There were loads in fields all around Dundalk, but you are actually too late now. They were ripe fron the 3rd week in July and most are now gone.

    I still have plenty in my garden (dublin) and in the old place in Cavan, so no reason why you wont find some along the side of the roads. It is a little bit late though, so you've probably missed the best of them, but you should get enough for a few pies.
