A Good Doctor In The City Centre-ish Area???

    Hey Folks,

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in Dublin city centre? In the past I've gone into a well known practice in the general area of Jervis Street/Parnell Street and I'm not too happy with the service I've received there. I could go to my own Doctor but that's down in Kildare so it's not so practical.

Any recommendations would be most welcome.

The Mercer Medical Centre behind Stephen's Green are pretty good, a mix of male and female doctors. Just remember to ring in advance for an appointment.

Or the Grafton Medical Centre is pretty good, I had to go there once as my own doctor couldn't see me. They wrote a letter to my doctor explaining what they had found etc etc. So that he could follow it up properly.

Thanks tSubh. I'm just back after having gone to the Grafton Medical Practice. I'm really happy with the level of service I received. I felt the doctor was more thorough and helpful than in the other place I mentioned above.
While not completely resolved (I need to go for a scan) he did make an interesting diagnosis that I might be 'suffering' from supressed stress. I never thought about that end of things before and I think he might be onto something there.

He was of course interested how I had heard about them and boards.ie got a mention!
