I am about to start a bit of Track racing, well I joined the bicycle club in dcu, and hopefully we'll doing a bit of track training, well here's the question. I did have a lovely old legnano Track frame but alas after a lot of cycling the frame buckled and now I must buy a new frame, I was looking at these dolan frames but I don't know much about them and was hoping to get some advice?

    cheers

Well if you like the old style, I'd go for a Bob Jackson or Mercian Vigorelli. They're top knotch, handbuilt, wonderful bikes.

Terry Dolan are very good frames, i used to have a Terry Dolan until recently and its a very strong frame, handbuilt in liverpool, they only specialise in building frames and they have been doing it for years. You certainly cant go wrong with a Dolan, if you are particular with the look of the frame the welding is top notch i have never seen such clean welding.

Dolans seem to be the most common frames on the Sundrive track. The rental bikes are also Dolans so you can get to try one out for yourself.
