CV Problem

As the story goes, and a follow up to my resigning thread, I will now have had 3 jobs in less than 20 months. I have worked in Tesco, Dunnes and now Spar. Keep in mind I'm only 18, but could this be a problem?

I have heard if they are part-time and not connected with your career path then it won't be as opposed to lets say being a newspaper editor and working for several different jobs in the same type of field.

I guess a company could look on you as a quiter or someone who's really not interested in work....

Depends how you spin it I guess ?

Pick one which you thought you did well in, and put that on your CV. Going through many jobs, in a short space of time, may make some employers inclined to think that you tend to leave after a short space of time.

I wouldn't worry about it too much depending on what type of job that your going for. If you got sacked and you cant get a good reference, it may cause a small bit of hassle for you. Buy a mate of mine has had about 12 of that type of part time job in the last 4 years and has been sacked from 8 of them and he still managed to get another part time job in a newsagents during college.

And yeh, it does depend what you tell your future emloyer yor reasons for leaving were!

I would tell them that the wages were better in each job.

Just tell them in the interview that you got robbed / got stalked and had to move on from there. ;). P.s. When I worked part time it was in a hotel. There are loads of job opportunities in hotels.
