Have I broken my graphics card - or worse?

    Hi,

I posted this in HTPC forum but realised this may be a better place.
I've been trying to turn my old desktop into a media centre pc.

Today I installed my TV Tuner card and that worked like a dream (my first time to ever open up a PC and replace something like this).

I also had a wireless card that I wanted to insert. I was having trouble finding space to install due to other cards being in the way. I removed my graphics card and then inserted the wireless card and replaced the graphics card. However, upon startup, there is nothing coming up on my monitor at all. I don't know if my gfx card hasn't been re-inserted properly or if it is broken or if something more serious like the motherboard is gone.

Is there any way I can tell? I do need to get a new gfx card anyway but don't wanna do this if it turns out I've killed my pc

Any help/advice most appreciated (and I was so happy at getting my TV tuner working and recording scrubs to my PC this evening :-) )

    thanks,

    Al
