My Dad is interested in getting a GPS unit however he still cant send text messages or even put a new number into his phone so Im not sure if he would be able to operate one.

Can anyone recommend a GPS unit that is simple to use, while maintaining good map coverage etc...

The Garmin Nuvi 250 widescreen a straight forward unit with no bluetooth or other stuff like that to complicate it. Nice big screen is easy to see and use. The 200 widescreen is cheaper again with just uk and irl coverage. Both are good value and handy to operate imo.
