    Just announced by ATP

Ladies and Gentleman, Portishead has now officially sold out.

But fret you not, if you have missed out on tickets, for today we would like to announce that the curator for the first May weekend of 2008 is Pitchfork Media vs ATP at the original ATP site of Camber Sands Holiday Camp.

After a successful collaboration earlier this year that saw ATP take over the first day of the Pitchfork festival with three special Don't Look Back shows, we are incredibly pleased to bring our association over to the UK for the event which will take place on May 9 - 11, 2008.

The first bands to be announced are as follows:

Ween, Sebadoh, Man Man, Dirty Projectors, Pissed Jeans, **** Buttons, Apse, Glass Candy, Caribou, Los Campesinos and Of Montreal.

Tickets are priced at £140, including a 3-day festival pass and 3 nights accommodation. Ticket includes performances starting from mid-afternoon with bars and DJ sets through till dawn, plus three nights in a self-catering chalet accommodation all with private bathroom suites. Onsite facilities include an indoor swimming pool, mini-golf, go-karting, restaurants & fast food outlets as well as a supermarket and off-license.

Camber Sands is approximately 60 miles from London, or around an hour and half drive. Alternatively, a train into Rye Village and then a short bus journey can reach the site.

Tickets for the All Tomorrow's Parties can be purchased directly through www.atpfestival.com and are available in blocks of 4,5,6,7 or 8 due to the specifications of the accommodation.

ATP May 2008 Weekend Two, will take place at Butlins Resort at Minehead on May 16 - 18. Details will be announced shortly.

Hmmm, Pitchfork show their "impeccable" taste with a crummy line up. Portishead for the win.

Lineup so far is looks promising and they always add some deadly bands later down the year so I'll be keeping my eye on this one. I want to go to either one of the ATP weekends or Primavera Sound again.
