sky + with digiweb metro phoneline

    is this possible? does the digiweb phoneline act as a standard line that sky will be happy with?

    yes.

    Make sure it is a 2-wire phone cord. (only two middle pins connected).

    I've tested it successfully.

    If you have multiroom, both Sky boxes must use the same phone socket.

    You can test it by "send email to Sky" feature that also shows the state of the phoneline.

    From yestedray I think, you can get Sky+ installed without a phone line.
    I have done several installations around Athy with people using Metro, and the box's activated no problems.

    When I got my SKY installed about 3 months ago, they told me that I definitely could not use the phone service supplied by my Digitweb Metro Lite package. Was I misinformed?
