I've paid for the year in one go,i lost my card yesterday,im living in wales and due to postal strike bs i will not get mail for ages. I was wondering if anyone had gotten cineworld to email them a letter stating they could view films with it?

I'd normally just ring them up again but i'm poor at the mo

Btw, i have a question, i paid for a year at the old rate three weeks ago, got a temporary card, awaiting the new card in the post, but since then, the rate has gone up by 30 quid. could i be charged?

Ouch, that's a pain. What postal strike? That'll mean my card is being held up too..damn.

I assume they'd have your info on file, so go there with some form of id and plead your case ;)

Mate of mine lost his recently and found they no longer issue cards in Dublin, so you won't be getting a temporary one here. Instead you get to sign on a sheet everytime you visit until you get the new card. Not sure what he did though to prove he was who he said he was and deserved to be on that list.

I pay €17.50 per month and I've had it for about 6 months now.
I see the price has gone up to €19.99 so I hope they wait until my 12 months are up before charging me the extra 2.50

I'm sure I'll get screwed by the small print somehow

But first you have to ring them and let them know, then they will email you a letter that you must print out and bring with you.
Anyway, even though you have to ring the UK, they tend to get it you fairly sharpish.

I'm in the same boat and I am 99.9999999999999999% sure that we will not get charged untill the first 12 months expire.

Presumably, the postal strike in britain is holding up my card. Bah!
