Macbook DVD Drive - Problem

    Hey.

My Macbook DVD drive has been a tempermental bitch for the last few months. I fought with Apple to get it fixed though it was outside warranty, and they agreed to repair. They fixed it but less than two months later, the problem is back, the problem being that the DVD drive won't 'grab' discs. If I try to push it in, you can hear it whirring and trying to catch it. If I give it a helping hand and push it in, it just gets stuck.

    Any ideas?

Buy one off ebay? Replace it yourself?

Apple repairs should be covered under a 3 month warranty from the repair date.

I mean home fixes. I'm getting a Macbook Pro in December so I only need it working until then.
