a girl i know is planing to buy a laptop someday. I tried to mac brainwash her. No good. She said in her college the mac's are soooooo old and she does not like them. It's a pity she does not have a room like that in her college. I will give her a go on my imac someday and she might change her mind.

And that looks slightly nicer than UCD's attempt at a Mac lab. About 70 iMac G3s running OS 9 networked together and constantly crashing when students perform such processor-intensive tasks as copying an image. Those iMacs have since been replaced by Dells running XP, which I hate to say it are far more stable.

In fairness we do have a few last-gen iMacs scattered around the place too if you know where to look

Most of my lecturers use Macs, although if you're studying commerce owning a Mac (even an Intel model running Windows) is practically a sin punishable by death. So is running Vista mind you. Good luck trying to wirelessly print from a Mac without the aid of a Windows virtual machine as well. And running a lot of Mac apps over the proxy is a no-go.

But no, I don't love Trinity. Never. Despite everything I have just outlined (which you'll see, if you pop over to the UCD forum, are all very minor issues when viewed in perspective), we're better than you.
