My Ti4200 has finally called it a day after many years of faithful service.
I'm looking to spend around €90 on the replacement (AGP8X) and I have come up with the following:

Club3D GeForce 7600GS 256MB

I want it to be able to handle HalfLife2 at 1280X1024.
Any suggestions as to what to go for or what to avoid appreciated.

All of those will play Half Life 2 at that res no problem. For that price, you won't really get better. I'd go with the 6800GS out of that bunch, best card and would overclock far better then the others.
