Puzzle Quest DS - dark horse?

Just got a pre-owned copy of the game on DS and I have to say it's one of the most addictive games I've played in a long time. Fact is, I'm looking forward to being on the bus home from work so I can play it!! Since I hadn't played the game on any other system before the DS, I wasn't expecting anything special graphics/effects-wise, which seems like a bone of contention with other DS-users (apparently PSP version is much more slick looking). Seems like a huge amount of lasting playability, especially with all the side quests and 4 different characters to choose from with their own abilities/spells etc. Has anyone else had a go?

Yeah I got really far into it, and i kinda drifted away. I got tired of playing a really long level and the @&%£ing computer player hits a lucky combo that cripples you...

Great game though.... Might start playing it again.

I know what you mean...been fighting this troll-thing for about 2 hours and every time I get within 10 hit points of killing him, he hits about 10 4 mana combos in a row to finsih me off...frutrating but clever use of the puzzle/rpg keeps me coming back. Wish there was better graphice and effect tho

Totally agree, such an addictive game. That 2 head troll thing was so lucky so many times. Those lucky combos really smart but sometimes it goes the other way. Class game for a rip off of bejewelled. The map aspect makes you want to conquer all, gives the game a bigger lifespan. Its supposed to be one of the top sellin games in america for the ds.
