    About a Staffie?..

    Someone posted looking for a Staff. But I can't find the thread.

    Anyway Ashtown have a few lovely Staffies waiting for either fosters or 'forever' homes.

    One's this little babe;

    Little Rocky is only a six month old puppy surrendered in by an uncaring ex-owner and is looking for a new home.

    Check him out, he's a dote.

    'Phelen' is buddies with Rocky.

    I'm planning on going over to look at Rocky this morning.

    Dammit my heart breaks for the Staffies.

    This website breaks my heart to read although they do AMAZING work at DID and they defo get a HUGE thumbs up from me.

    There is a GSD in there at the moment and he is a STUNNER, looks just like my girl, I would love to take him but I unfortunately can't.

    Well done Mairt for posting up this stuff too, the more people that know about DID and the amount of doggies looking for new forever homes the better!

    What I cannot get over though is how many people 'surrender' their pets. How do they do it? :rolleyes:

    I haven't a clue how they do it either.

    I'd love to foster, but can't. But my cat and dog are both rescues.

    Although I do what I can. I'll advertise certain dogs, and if there's dogs in the pound strayed from Dub 9, 13, 17 or 5 I'll print off their details and post them in the shops etc around here.

    Staffie's really pull at my heart strings because through ignorance people think they're a ''dangerous breed'' when nothing could be further from the truth.

    When we talk about 'the under-dog' I think the Staffordshire Bull Terrier defines it.
