OSX Leopard release date anyone?

I know its due to be released soon. Does anybody know the release date for Ireland?

If the usual pattern is followed it'll be released worldwide on the same day. The date hasn't been announced yet though, other than 'October'.

I am going to wait till around xmas ( most likely) cause i will wait for the experts to see what they say and i will wait for flaws to be ironed out. Although from waht i have read, Leopard will be awesome out of the box. I also reckon loads and loads of windows people will jump to mac seen as Vista is flopping.
