I was in Dunnes Stores in Cornellscourt the other day and I noticed they had 3 packs of Britta Filters (without one extra free) for €1 - that's pretty good seeing as they usually cost ~€18. The other three-packs that come with one free are the regular €18. I fairly stocked upon them, but there might still be some there or in other stores. It really looked like a mistake though, so I wouldn't bet on there being many more around.

I think tescos have their own brand ... and they work with the water jugs ... can work out a lot cheaper ... :)

I have a couple of the Tesco ones left but have not been able to find them in the stores lately - I generally use the Lucan or (less often) Maynooth branches. I think they were half the price of the Brita jobbies, and did th job just as well. Tesco have had promos on Brita lately, so I wondered if that meant that they had stopped doing their own product?

€1 sounds too good to be true. Maybe they were made down in Galway and were wetted with the Crypto water!:p
