when i goto log into adverts it say i dont have permission to view the old forum and directs me to the new alpha forum(i didnt know i was that import to do alpha testing!!). what is going on, i can view all pages not logged in but when i log in i do not have permission to view them?

Not always. The Adverts Support forum will specifically deal with this - we (Smods) don't do any banning/moderating on adverts.ie

Indeed, you'll have to wait for one of the Adverts moderators to respond to you in the other forum.
