That Chinese guy was mentally unfit to be on that show anyway I thought. It was a good series though. What channel is showing it now?

Oh I didn't realise it was a repeat - when was it shown before?? It's on TV3 now on Wednesdays at 10pm - best hour of the week :)

Yeah I don't know how that guy got onto the show in the first place, he was just so bizarre!!

Are you not tired of GR yet? His one trick is foul language, and that's pretty old now. The show is worth watching for the contestants though. Still, I find it hard to believe they were selected for any reason other than their ineptness.

I think its a fun show, but its more like a soap opera than a reality show. Its so completely scripted and fake. Same in all US HK series - about 4 weeks from the end, people who couldn't boil water in week 1 are suddenly gourmet chefs.

    I still watch, though.... :)

I watched it through recordings from FOX. Probably not been shown this side of the world before. I am watching the US version of Kitchen Nightmares at the moment. The episode last week was very good.

NO I'm not tired of him - fair enough, he just storms around screaming "F**K YOU" or "F**K OFF" but in fairness he is an amazing chef, his food looks fab and he's so passionate about it - The F Word is one of the best shows on telly. And, speaking from a female perspective, there is just something very sexy about the man too :)

Oh very good, I'd be doing the same thing if my bloody broadband was up and running... but that's a story for another thread grrr...

Not watching 'Hells Kitchen US' but am watching 'Kitchen Nightmares US'..

.. good stuff despite it being clearly, CLEARLY 99% staged.

Kitchen Nightmares isn't too bad, saw part of it last week (The Mixing Bowl in NY). The manager was a feckin' eejit.

I do hope that the "managers" are asked to be so annoying.
