    This crowd have something similar...candy whistles, along with loads of other yummy treats from my childhood. Me thinks I should place an order with them soon, put on ET or Bugsy Malone DVD and be 10 again :D:D:D

    It was impossible to get a tune out of em once they were bunged up with drool and they cost 8p which was quite a bit in the late 70's.

    I remember too a whistle you could buy that looked a bit like a tin whistle. The body of it was filled with little sweets I think.

    Didn't Chupa-chups make ones which had a slider you could pull out to change the notes and you'd get a little sheet of music with it to try play?
