Gay bars & Clubs in the Midlands

    I'm a curious male from Athlone. I want to try gay sex just to see what it's like and to find out if it's for me or not. However finding another guy/couple is hard. Does anyone know of any Gay bars or Clubs in the area?

    I think there is is group called GLAM - which is a social group for gays and lesbians and holds events at various venues in the Midlands.

    Also some LGBT people were meeting in the back of Gertie Brown's pub in Athlone but I'm not sure if that still happens.
