I am having problems recieving e-mails with 5mb+ attachments.
Its not my PC ( same problem with a friends Laptop on same link).
Its not the E-mail host (logged into eircom from another house and could
    download e-mails, no problem.
Is anybody else having slow access with Gaelic Telecom.
Did eircoms modem speed test and it says link speed is fine.

It's more than likely a limit on the size of attachments. I'm fairly sure most won't let you send a file over 2 or 3mbs.

Eircom email addresses have a 5MB inbox limit. It won't allow any one email over 5MB into the inbox. If you're receiving large emails regularly then you should switch to Gmail or similar.
