    Hi every1,im from Dublin,im 26,i have always been in 2 airsoft but never done it b4:( Anyway im going 2 start,i have plenty of military background:D i wud b grateful if yous cud advise me on how to get started,and if it wud b ok buying weapons over the net?wot wud b a gud weapons 2 start of with,a few of my friends are in 2 airsoft aswell & wud it be possible join a team or start my own team?:D do i have to b a meber of an airsoft club ect?

    sorry,i was only introducing myself and lookin 4 advice on which weapons are good,and where the matches are?and info on joining or formin a team,im only asking coz im new and yous have plenty of experence,im really intested in it,sorry if im wasted any1 time,mainly im just introducing

    Theres a Airsoft place up by Swords on the Rathbel Rd (thats not spelt right, dsylexia ftw) and thats were a Irish Team - Na Taibhse (The Ghosts in irish) train and play.

    as for weapons purchasing, I had a leaflet with some good websites on it but i'm after loseing it so i'll get back to you on that issue

    Firstly, please read the stickied threads at the top of the first page of this forum. They will answer nearly every question you could have.

    Secondly. Airsoft devices ARE NOT WEAPONS. I am saying this now to save you the hassle that it will cause you later on. A weapon is an object wielded with the intent, or possessed with the intent, of causing harm to another person, animal or object. Airsoft devices are precision sports and re-enactment equipment used in the play of Airsoft skirmishes. I cant stress this distinction enough (and I know we all make the mistake sometimes).

    Finally, welcome aboard - what took you so long to join us?
