anyone seen this show? it only started october 1st so one episode out so far. It's about a kid from pakistan who goes to live with an american family as part of a student exchange program, but they were told they were getting a kid from london.. so when a muslim turns up at the airport they start freaking out.

it's pretty god damn funny, I really hope it does well because i'd love to see more of it

I liked the first episode, was pretty funny. However as with most CW shows lately,it didn't do so well in the ratings.

Yeah, the first episode was enjoyable. But got a lot of bad press in the States due to the pressing message in the pilot that the show was portraying all American's as racist. And the pilot somewhat did overdo the racial humour but it was all in jest.

The only difference from the pre-air pilot and the one they aired this week is that the father been re-cast is now played by Scott Patterson (Luke Danes from 'Gilmore Girls').

The weakest link in the show is the actress playing the mother - who i remember as the neighbour (Annie, wasn't it?) in 'Caroline In The City'. I think she's trying too hard to be Jane Kaczmarek (think that's how you spell it).. or Lois from 'Malcolm In The Middle' but just comes off irritating.

Some great music in the pre-air pilot... but not sure if CW's kept it in the aired episode as the rights to music doesn't always work out in the aired episodes.

Really? How did 'Reaper' do in the ratings?

First episode of Reaper did ok I suppose by CW standards, over 3 million viewers, about the same as the veronica mars season premiere last season, But the 2nd episode dropped below 3 million.

It is probably their highest rated new show,so it might have a chance, but if it is on the same level as Veronica Mars ratings then it is not great. The only reason VM lasted as long as it did was cult following.
