it says you can book now on the email but nothing on the website
went to london twice last month for 4 cents, and going to Edinburgh for 2 cent next weekend

would be nice to find somewhere alright (gawd but london is expensive)

not too bad. looking to go to basel now

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 217 ✭✭folkswagen

    thanks for the info:D

just booked a single flight for two and got charges €6.02

2cent for the fares and €6 for the credit card fee....not complaining like;) ...but, when they have had this offer before...there wasn't even a credit card fee:)

WHen did the fee go up from €2.50 to €3? I missed that:D

    I will always have a love/hate relationship with Ryanair:D

    Today - I love Ryanair:) :):)

Anyone else having problems in the last few minutes?

I keep getting an error message when trying to search for flights, a congestion issue maybe

    From www.ryanair.com site:
    FREE OFFER

Fares include taxes, fees & charges

Trying to book 3 tickets to London. From what I remember from the last 1c offer, you had to select "0.01c Reg Fare" - not "Web Fare" - which I've done.

Still getting ~€70 in charges before proceeding to passenger names/luggage options, etc.

Search seems to be broken, so does anyone know how to book without these (Govt.)charges? I was able to do it the last time (got Madrid return for 3 people for grand total of 6c!) - for the life of me I can't remember how!?

Or is this a different offer from the last offer a few months ago?

    Cheers!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 217 ✭✭folkswagen

if you search under find lowest fares option it is easier to see the different fare types...it is best if you put in a few weeks between your out and return dates - that way you see what is available and at what price

yes, you need reg fares look for REG to be highlighted in blue....

good luck...like i said, I got the 1 cent flights but just had to pay the visa fee

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 893 ✭✭✭Doodlebug

Ah yeah - thanks folkswagon - Reg fair has to be highlighted in blue! Now I remember!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,153 ✭✭✭ronano

I got all excited! i've been flying back and forth using the last offers flights. Sadly there is no bristol to dublin :( hopefully they will add it soon

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,441 ✭✭✭✭jesus_thats_gre

Wait there, how do you check dates for these cheap flights?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 224 ✭✭annex

Not even with free flights would I fly Ryanair. A few years back I ended up having to wait in Standsted over night because they messed up on a connecting flight, they even had the balls to charge me because I missed the flight.
    Hate hate hate Ryanair.

Yeah I'm getting "reg fares" to Rome - but all coming up with £55 in taxes for me and the missis...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 304 ✭✭Smiley012

it's only for the four routes mentioned, and there are plenty of terms and conditions so i suggest you all read them! like, there are black out periods from 18th of December to some date in January I think, so if you book between those dates you're not going to get them free.

Both coming back flights are reg fares so why the extra charges?

edit: Sorry...check T&C...flights after 12pm on mondays qualify for offer! how annoying!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 893 ✭✭✭Doodlebug

    Just to recap -

To find flights, use the "Find Lowest Fares" link at the top of the page.

If you want the flights including all charges, the fare must be listed as
Reg fare Adult Reg Fare 0.01 EUR

Note: If the formatting of Reg fare is not Bold and Blue, then charges are not included!

    Example: This costs 0.01 all-in...
Reg fare Adult Reg Fare 0.01 EUR

    Tue, 04 Dec 07
    Flight FR1134
    12:55 Depart Shannon (SNN)
    13:55 Arrive Liverpool (LPL)"

This one will have charges added on...
Adult Reg Fare (Note lack of formatting!) 0.01 EUR

    Sat, 08 Dec 07
    Flight FR1135
    11:50 Depart Liverpool (LPL)
    12:50 Arrive Shannon (SNN)

Compared to last time, doesn't seem to be as much choice for sunnier climes - but maybe thats just me!

You'll have to do a "fare" bit of digging to find what suits you! Remember the blackout periods in the T&Cs!

    Good Luck! ;)

Didn't bother with the no taxes stuff.

Got both going-out and return 1c web fares so got a long weekend in Rome (Fri to Tues at start of February) for myself and the missus 122 euros. Not too bad!

Can't seem to get any flights for 1 cent.
