meteor cant help, any other way?

    need to find a number that left a voicemail on my pay as u go phone meteor told me no, surely there is a way of finding out? :(

    other than the person ringing you had caller I.D. off, there isnt any other way i can think of to get the number

    It's privacy protection. No one can help.

    If it's malicious notify the Gardai and see what they can do. Probably get you to log when you get other calls etc.

    Thats exactly it. Usually would think its someone playing a prank, but this person rang my mobile once, I answered, realised it was someone taking the piss, hung up. They rang again, so I didnt answer. Next thing I know they ring my home address and ask my dad if I am available, they go straight to my mobile voicemail next and leave a fairly malicious message mentioning both my name, address and threatening comments.

    As I said, first thing that hit me was someone messing about, but when they rang the house I consider that intimidating/harrassment.


    Maybe Eircom could find the withheld number on their system?

    No company is going to give you the withheld number. Go to the Guards if they are threatening etc ...

    Go to the guards and play them the voicemail.
