    Hi

Not sure if correct forum so please move if needed

I'm thinking of getting Satellite TV in the house, mainly to watch Spanish and English channels

Don't have a clue about it some I will need recommendations on what will I need, where to get it from from and also someone to install it, or a shop that can do everything for me. Based in Dublin (Old Bawn Area)

I have a box already Humax HDCI-2000T so if it can be use better so I will save some money.

    Thanks in advance.

PS. I know have NTL digital but if I can get main channels might consider canceling.

    Hi

Thanks for the suggestion but I already did, all the suppliers I checked were good for buying the parts, a couple of them mention about the installation but were down the country.

    Regards

Tony did a job for me 2 weeks a go and I could not be more satisfied. He arrived when he said he would, got the job done very quickly, even realigned my old sky dish and answered all my silly questions. Job was done professionally and quickly.

No such thing as a silly question :) Thanks for the kind words

    Hi guys,

What about Cork? The sticky is very old and only lists satquip as located here. They are only an equipment supplier.

I'm pretty much at the point of getting SkyHD.

I want a HD box and I would like to (finally) move my dish off the chimney onto a standoff bracket on the rear wall of the house. Sky would give me the box for €299 plus install but I don't really trust them. I'd pay more just to get a good service. I could never trust Sky to move the dish to my request.

The installer who I got to do Sky+ seems to be out of business. Does anyone have any recommendations for Cork. Douglas area to be more specific.

    Ix.

Just got Sky+ recently and I dealt with Garret White of Muskerry Satellite Systems in Ballincollig. His installer was Joe Smith, I was afraid of having loads of trailing cables after reading stuff here, but no worries on that score. I'd definetly reccommend Joe.
