Hotels in Paris and London

Going to Paris for a few days after Christmas and am looking for a nice hotel in a good location. Trying to keep a decent budget too maybe up to about €150 max per room per night. If anyone has any suggestions it'd be great!!

Also going to London for a night soon just for some shopping and a show. Any suggestions for central hotels. Need nothing fancy at all as we'll just be staying one night and hopefully spending little time in the room!

    Thanks all.:)

It's a few years since I was in Paris and cant remember where we stayed but for London I'd recommend either of the following:

    1. The Comfort Inn in Victoria - http://www.comfortinnvictoria.co.uk/, it's a few minutes walk from the tube. Complementry tea/coffee 24hrs a day. Nice basic breakfasts available. Lovely Chinese resturant around the corner iirc.

    2. The Holiday Inn in Camden - http://www.holidayinncamden.co.uk/, a bit more upmarket than the Comfort Inn. Nice resturant and bar in the hotel. A few minutes walk from the tube.

For Paris go to http://www.timhotel.com and select the Montparnasse one, its only a couple of metro stops from Latin Quater and only 4euro back in a taxi at nighttime, its only about 50-60 per room per night, its clean and has a great location!
