Why does C. Ronaldo still take united's free kicks? he must be the worst free kick taker ive ever seen, he rarely beats the wall and if he does he balloons it over...

Surely they have players that are better!

He just likes to hit the ball really hard. He doesn't know there is an objective to it, or so it seems at times.

Because he'll sometimes score from it or the team will get a rebound and score from it

Another Ronaldo bashing thread. Get a life, there was no reason why this couldnt be discussed (again) in the Utd thread.

There's no keane type player to scream at him after he hits a bad free kick (just a team of players who'd say nothing at all it seems atm - only person in the midfield/attack atm who shouts at teammates is Giggs and thats just him whinging at the others after his bad ball), so he'll just keep on taking them. He probably gets a pat on the back after he hits the wall for 99th time.

Anyone know exactly how many he has scored for United in competitive games?

You could also argue why does Gerrard take free kicks for Liverpool, and why does he take corners despite being over 6 foot, a threat in the air, and possibly one of the best 'outside the box' strikers of the ball around.

I think you'll find the reason why Gerrard and Ronaldo take the FK's are the same...

More importantly, what's up with the use of the word "sick" on youtube?

    Tevez for short range.
    Ronaldo for 30+ yards.
    Simple as that for me.

Think its one of those Americanisms that has just spread everywhere. Like "cool" did many years ago.
