The Ksyrium's are a better wheel but you would expect that for the price difference, Mavic Aksiums are closer in price and are a bomb proof wheel. We sold a lot last year and they dont give trouble.

That was a shemless plug alright!:D

Is there a major diference in weight between the Krysium and Askium?
what would be the advantageds of streching for the Krysium?

I assume that upgrading to either should make a noticeable difference?

There is only 160 gram difference, The Ksyrium are marginally better performance wise but I think I would go with the Aksiums for commuting. They will stand up to regular winter use better.
Depends on which is more important, durability or performance.

Ksyriums are fab wheels... there is some difference between them and my 'normal' wheels....
