I've heard this song 2 nights in a row (Monday and Tuesday), but I can't place either the song or the band.

It sounds kind of 1980's style, like Echo and The Bunnymen.

Anybody know what it is?

Its defiantly A Lazarus Soul form their debut album Graveyard of Burnt out Cars
cant remember offhand which track it as it the albums is almost a concept album of sorts with a number of themes and lyrics repeated on different tracks I think its either when harry left for england or the day I diasapeared.
Its a pretty good album not the most original alum ever it is certinlay heavily indebted to Echo & others but its better than most albums ive heard this year.

Their latest single is The Day I Disappeared, so if you heard it twice, it's ore than likely that one.
