I don’t know Waterford very well, so If somebody could help it would be very handy.
Reception of the National terrestrial channels on the Tramore side of Waterford (I think the site is towards the end of some bypass from the cork side) are they 53,57,63? Is there an alternative transmitter, what is the general signal quality like? story with TV3 and community TV? Any help at all would be great.

Dont know Waterford very well either but have you tried Mount Leinster
    F I 26 23

By "Community TV" I take it you mean deflectors ?

I seem to remember someone saying that in parts of Waterford it is possible to get terrestrial TV from Wales or even Cornwall

havent tried anything yet:) I have to align a set of filter blocks for a small headend there, so I was hoping not to have to do the terrestrial ones on site, looks like I will have to :( journey time down to survey would = time on filters so i suppose its 6 of one half dozen of the other.
    Thanks anyway.

As Ulsterman says, it would be Mt Leinster, so both UHF Group A and VHF. There has been a 'deflector' on channels 48 55 65 69 Vertical located some miles south of Waterford city though I am not 100% sure it is still going

Hi the deflector is still working ,the reception is quite good. RTE 1 and are on VHF and TV3 and Tg4 are UHF. RTE reception is ok but the quality is not the same as UHF.
