Glue a thin piece of card/plastic to the insides of the magwell. You'd have to guage the thickness required so that it does the job right without ending up too tight.

    or....

Some people glue a small slice of rubber around the inside lip of the magwell to stop rattle. It's also more forgiving then modding with a hard substance which could break off quickly given the magwell sees the most force exerted on it during a days gaming.

By far the most sensible answer so far. Trouble is though, the increased risk of the mag jamming up against the rubber.

I had trouble with the mags in my MP5, a couple of strips of black insulating tap on the inside of the mag well soon sorted the problem. It's cheap and non-permanent

Don't think you have quite grasped what he was saying there, he meant lining the inner side walls of the magwell with a thin strip of rubber. The only way you could get a mag stuck doing that would be if you used too thick a piece of rubber and jammed the mag in.

Can't say I have had a problem with mag wobble myself, mag wombles on the other hand........

Yeah, rubber would give more friction and possibly make it difficult to insert the mag. That's why I suggested plastic or card, though they could scrape the mag. Pro's and con's for both.

Both suggestions I think would work very well, but getting the thickness right will be hard.

Yea gaffer tape is probably the easiest way to keep those mag wombles at bay ;)

What I meant was the edge of the mag catching against he rubber when trying to load and just generally being a nuisance to insert.

Bugger my little song joke has backfired I've had the Wombles theme tune stuck in my head for about 7 hours and I've been overcome with a strange compulsion to dress up as uncle Bulgaria for Halloween.

I'll get you for this Hivemind, you and your blasted wobbly mags.
