    Anyone having problems today with Eircom E-mail? .......

    seems desperately slow to get in (after entering password) ......

    I've also noticed after deleting spam that some of the very same messages return as new mail next time I log in ..... same messages - same dates ....?

    Yeah. Keep getting the same messages repeated over & over. Outlook calved with the amount of repeats....maybe someone hacked into eircoms server as well as their routers.......

    It's still screwed up at lunchtime today ..... :mad:

    Are Pat and I the only ones in the country with the problem? :confused:

    edit after calling Eircom support 12.50 hrs today ...... there is a major problem at Eircom .... they are working to fix it ..... no forcast on when at the moment ...

    All my eircom mail goes directly to my spam folder, so I don't know if it's the same spam being duplicated or not. I just empty it every night.

    Colleague in work had the same problem today. Looks like it's not just her. Slow opening, loads of spam (10 times more then normal)

    A tip:

    You can setup your GMail account (Google Mail) to auto-download email from up to five other POP3 accounts, so you can check it easily all in one place.

    I have my Eircom mail being handled by Gmail. GMail has brilliant spam filtering, and it takes care of all of the Eircom spam as well when it checks the account for me.

    So personally I haven't noticed any more spam, mainly because I never get any from my Eircom account thanks to GMail ;)

    If anyone wants a Gmail account just let me know - I have a few invitations left.
