How strict are stena line as regards names on tickets? Booked to go to fishguard this weekend but someone is going instead of me now?

Are you as a foot passenger or going in the car? If you're driving I'd say you're ok. In my experience, they just check that there's the same amount of people in the car as on the ticket. I'm not 100% sure if you're a foot passenger. i went as a a foot passenger last weekend and they didn't check ID or anything, but that doesn't mean they couldn't. It said you only need ID if you're going to France. I'd check though to be %100.

I went last week by car, and they didn't check names.
All I needed was the booking ref and name of person booking was made under.

They're not the same dick turpins that fly us over to the UK....I would have assumed they would be ok with a name change
