I am running windows vista business(came with the pc) and want to get my hands on windows media center.

Is there any way i can do this without upgrading to the 'ultimate' package?

You cant add media centre in any practical way. If it suits you, you can run mediaportal or GB-PVR which are free.

Also you can use commercial software such as SageTV

I dont really know that much about the differences in the multimedia aspects of vista but do ya really miss that much with the business edition apart from the HD crap?

    Enlighten me!
