My computer is quite slow and jittery. When I open the Task Manager there are alot of processes and I think that is why the computer is slow. I typed a few of the names of the processors (or whatever you call them) onto a website and it said a few of them were Trojan. Is there any way of getting rid of these for good? Thanks.

Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware software are you best bet to do this.

Have a look here for the best free apps these tasks.

Definitely as deadl0ck has said. Antivirus & a spyware detector, update completely or install if not already on board.

Some could also be programs you don't need all the time. In that case go to start-run & type in msconfig, click on the startup tab. You can go through this list of programs & untick the ones you don't regularly use. Click apply & then reboot. There's also a services tab again you could go through this for unused services too. Also set your scheduler to regularly cleanup the drives & defrag them, this will also help keep you in tune.
