hi i have an ordinary degree and want to get an honours degree. I have been paying fees for the last 3 years and have found it quite hard financially. Ive had jobs during college but had to give them up as my course is extremely time consuming. I am thinking of taking a year out or 6 months and signing on to get the back to educ. allowance when I start my final year. Can this be done or is it only for ppl in first time third level, Thank you

No can only be done for first time at third level or for a higher diploma. Contact your Social Welfare Office for more info.
