:confused: hi im hoping to apply for a small car loan of about 1000, does any1 no f i can get 1 if i'm only 17? Hoping to go to credit union as in bank you defo need to be 18.:confused:

1st of all, I see you are new here - I'd advise against the txt spk. It generally doesn't go down to well on boards

Second, you generally would have to be 18 to get loan. Sometimes if you have a guarantor who has a good relationship with the bank manager, they might be more flexible.

You'll never get a bank to lend you €1000 -they would never make any money on it!
