Noisy Power Supply Unit

    I just got this monster PC from a mate....
    Runs everything and anything perfectly...

    Only thing is, the fan in the power supply is extremely loud. It's not too bad when the computer is started and I'm surfing the net or working on a document, but as soon as I start a game or do something that takes a bit of proccessing power the fan on the power supply revs up and my office starts to sound like Dublin airport.

    Is this normal?

    I also get a little rattling noise from the power supply.
