Is play.com best?

Is play.com the cheapest place to buy games online from Ireland? I want to place a pre-order for Assassins Creed Limited Edition and I see its 61.99 which is pretty good but I hear that they only send out the game on launch day, ie you get the game about a week late.

Anyone have any other recommendations for where to buy or pre-order a game?

They send it out a few days before launch, but it'd be rare that you actually receive the game on launch day, it's normally a few days late.

Play.com is good because it does free delivery. I think cdwow also does free delivery

Don't think CD-WOW do PS3 games unfortunately.

yeah cdwow do do ps3 games but they dont dont tell you thant for some reason! be it poor site design or just for the pure mystery of it you need to go to the ps2 games page and edit the link in the address bar and change the 2 to a 3!

wtf, why they do that. if they only had a few ps3 games then i'd understand but they have a pretty full catalogue. just bought a PS3 so i think ill get my games from cdwow

Seconded for sendit.com. They also still allow you to buy in £sterling so it's cheaper again with the conversion rate.

E-bay has some great shops, picked up 2K7 All pro football and Lair for around 50 euro's on an E-bay shop called futureplay. tho allow for 2 weeks delivery.
